Sit-down/Take-out Meals

Are you ready for some breakfast, lunch or supper? 

Whichever it is, Florida Tech offers a number of options, including the Panther Dining Hall, the Rathskeller Pizza and Grill, and the Panther Food Court.  Meal plans may be purchased to cover the cost of your meals,  Daily menus are posted online.

The Panther Dining Hall, located in the southern half of the main campus, is the largest of the dining facilities with the widest range of menu options. Meals, which are paid for through your Panther Card, are a set price for all you can eat. You may either eat on the premises or take your meal to go.

The Panther Food Court and the Rathskeller Pizza and Grill are both located in the northern part of the main campus. 

As its name implies, the Rathskeller Pizza and Grill has a focus on foods such as pizza, chicken wings, burgers and fries. It also offers a pizza delivery service. The Panther Food Court hosts such chains as Einstein Bros. Bagels, Firehouse Subs, and Cosmic Creamery.

To see the locations on campus of the above:

  1. Go to the campus map.
  2. Click on the Menu icon near the top to display a menu along the left side of the page.
  3. Click on Food. 

Groceries

The Panther Grocery Store is adjacent to the Panther Aquatics Center in the same building as the Panther Dining Hall.  It sells a range of grocery products, as well as personal care products and cleaning supplies.

The store also includes a full-service grill and deli for take-out orders.

Vending Machines

Vending machines for food and drink are located in various locations on campus, including on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the Evans Library by the elevator.  Purchases may be paid for using either cash, credit card, or Panther Card.

Paying for Food with your Panther Card

Meals and other food may be purchased using your Panther Cash Account.  Alternatively, a variety of Meal Plans are available to Florida Tech students, all of which may be purchased online.  Similarly to your Panther Cash Account, your meal plans are managed through your Panther Card, which you will use to provide payment for each meal.

All meal plans provide some dollar value of FlexFunds, which may be applied to meals at any location on campus.  FlexFunds may also be used in the grocery or in vending machines.

 

Many meal plans also include Panther Dining Hall (PDH) Meals.  These PDH Meals may not be used at any locations other than Panther Dining Hall.  Depending upon the meal plan in question, this may cover:

As explained on the Meal Plans FAQ website, any unused PDH meals or FlexFunds will expire at the end of the Spring Semester.

At any given time you may choose to add funds to increase your existing FlexCredit balance without purchasing a new meal plan. To do so:

  1. Go to the university's website.
  2. At the top of the page, click the LINKS FOR tab.
  3. Click on the STUDENTS tab. 
  4. Under the section for Students Services, click on Panther ID - Add Funds-Panther, Flight & Additional Flex.
  5. On the left side of the page, click on STUDENT DEPOSITS.
  6. Click on To Student Flex Account.
