Grammarly for Education, which the Evans Library provides to students free of charge, offers additional capabilities that include recommending word choices and proposing sentences rewritten to achieve greater clarity.

One of the more commonly required formatting styles is that of the American Psychological Association (APA). "Academic Writer" is an application provided through the Evans Library that will assist you in writing APA-formatted papers. Plagiarism is one of the worst academic offenses that you can commit while at Florida Tech. Accordingly, the penalties for committing plagiarism can be severe.
To help students avoid committing plagiarism, the Evans Library provides students with access to Turnitin, an online tool that reviews papers for instances of plagiarized content. This Canvas "course" offers a Turnitin drop-box with special settings that allow you to submit and resubmit papers for Similarity Scoring. To use the Turnitin drop-box, simply enroll yourself in the Turnitin Practice Drop-box course.
