Computers

If you need access to a computer, the Evans Library gives you lots of options.

The ground floor of the library provides many general-use computers.  In addition, the library contains two computer labs.

The Applied Computing Center is located on the 3rd floor and, in addition to providing computers that are more powerful than those on the ground floor, can provide access to additional applications. The Digital Scholarship Lab is located on the 2nd floor and provides resources such as:

  • Graphics-intensive applications
  • Rendering & visualization
  • Video display wall
  • Podcast studio
  • Video studio
  • Interactive computing
  • Large-scale multi-touch displays
  • Virtual reality
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Prototyping and creation (3D printing, scanning, etc.)

Printing, Copying & Scanning

Printers/copiers are available to students on all but the 4th floor of the Evans Library.  Printing fees are:

  • Black & White: $0.10 per page
  • Color: $0.40 per page

Fees should be paid with either of the following:

Scanners are available on the ground floor and may be used, for free, to create PDF files of journal articles, brief sections of books, or other documents.  You many save PDF files to a USB-drive or email them to yourself.
