How do I know if a journal is peer reviewed?
This Texas State website describes how the information found in peer-reviewed journals is selected and how you can identify a peer-reviewed article.

There are many ebooks on research methods in Evans Library. On the Library Homepage, scroll down to "More Ways to Search", and click on Ebooks. Type in "research methods" in search bar to find books in your area of research.

Here are a few examples;

Online Textbook: Research Methods Knowledge Base - Free web-based textbook that addresses topics in a typical introductory undergraduate or graduate course in social research methods. Covers formulating research questions; sampling (probability and nonprobability); measurement (surveys, scaling, qualitative, unobtrusive); research design (experimental and quasi-experimental); data analysis; and, writing the research paper.
