APA Style Citations

This guide is a quick introduction to the APA style citations. For the complete guidelines be sure to consult the Publication Manual of the APA or the Academic Writer database.

What is the APA Style Manual (7th ed.)

The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), seventh edition, is the official source for APA Style. It is the style manual of choice for writers, researchers, editors, students, and educators in the social and behavioral sciences, natural sciences, nursing, communications, education, business, engineering, and other fields.

There are two copies available in the Library: one on Reserves at the iDesk for in-library use (two hours at a time), and the other is located in BOOKS on the 4th Floor.
