Here are two ways to find articles in the library databases:
1. Search each database individually. The benefit is your results are limited and targeted to your research needs. Look under the Databases tab (left-hand column) for database pertinent to this course.
2. Use the Library search engine, OneSearch. OneSearch searches most of our databases simultaneously. The drawback: your results list will be huge, but you can refine your search by limiting to books, journals, e-books, scholarly/peer reviewed, or full text, or by subject terms and date using the Refine Results feature in the left-hand column. .
Search Tips:
e.g. To find journal articles on the topic, management of groups in organizations, use:
management and groups and organizations
e.g. to search, managing groups or teams in organizations, use:
manag* and (groups or teams) and organization*.
The truncation symbol * will return articles in managing as well as management, managerial, etc.. Placing terms in parentheses will group those terms together.
