Video Streaming at Evans Library: Home

Find Videos Using the Library's OneSearch

  • Go to the Evans Library webiste at https://lib.fit.edu/.
  • Enter your search words in the search bar that says, "Find books, articles, and more ..."
  • Click on search or simply hit Enter on your keyboard.
  • On the left side column find "Limit by Source Type" and select "Show More."
  • Scroll to find "Videos," check the box, and select "Update."
  • Click on the title links to find more information about the films.
  • Click on the full text links to view them.

Video Sources

A comprehensive, multidisciplinary video collection that includes documentaries interviews, feature films, performances, news programs, and demonstrations

Short demonstration videos related to engineering and science topics.  Use the Advanced Search and limit "Content Type" to "Video."

Streaming video of more than 400 famous productions, from comedies to dramas to musicals, including most of William Shakespeare’s plays. Also included are video clips featuring major scholars such as Harold Bloom discussing important literary topics. Search for keywords then select the "Videos" tab at the top.

A small subset of Credo Reference articles includes video clips.  To search, select "Articles with Videos" under "Articles with the Following Features" at the bottom.

Search for a news topic then limit "Document Type" to "Audio/Video Clip" on the left.

Thousands of award-winning documentaries, training films, and theatrical releases across a broad range of disciplines.

Search for keywords then limit "Format" to "Video."  A small collection of videos on DVD can check out of the Library.

OPEN ACCESS.  Covers almost every topic imaginable. Search for keywords through millions of personal and professional videos.  Be sure to evaluate the authority of the source.  How to cite YouTube videos.
