Reserve books are shelved on the 1st floor. Reference books and books that may be checked out are shelved on the 4th floor of the Library. Books in the Evans Library are cataloged according to the Library of Congress Classification system. Civil Engineering materials will be found in the TA 1-2040 call number range. Additional relevant material relating to hydraulic engineering may be found in the TC call number ranges; environmental technology in TD; highway engineering in TE; railroad engineering in TF; bridge engineering in TG; building construction in TH. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of engineering, your research will not necessarily be limited to these call number ranges.
Records for e-books appear in the Library Catalog and can be found by searching the Catalog by author, title, keyword, or subject (L.C. Subject Headings). Searching via the databases, or e-book collections below, allows searching to chapter and page level.
