Welcome to the DSL maker lab, an extension of the Evans Library Craft Lab.
The available equipment includes an xTool M1 Smart Laser Engraver and Vinyl Cutter and a Bambu Lab X1E 3D Printer.
Like the Craft Lab, the DSL maker lab offers equipment for students free of charge, along with a supply of sample materials.
Due to safety requirements and the fragile nature of the equipment, sessions in the DSL maker lab are available by appointment only.
To book an appointment to use the laser etcher, please email one of our support staff members with a brief description of your project, and we will schedule an appointment with you according to the availability of the equipment.
For 3D printing, please email your STL file to Martin Gallagher.
