Peer-reviewed journals (also called refereed or scholarly) represent the highest quality information that can be consulted and are the primary method for publishing new research.
Most databases allow you to limit your search to only scholarly or peer-reviewed articles.
At this time there are many lists of journal abbreviations, but none includes every possible title. Three links to abbreviations sources important for MES are listed below followed by the title of a reference book of abbreviations which can be found in the library.
