  • County Business Patterns - County Business Patterns is an annual series that provides sub national economic data by industry. Businesses use the data for analyzing market potential, measuring the effectiveness of sales and advertising programs, setting sales quotas, and developing budgets.
  • Statistics of U.S. Business: 2010: All Industries - Organized by detailed employment size, by year, by state and by industry.
  • Current Industrial Reports from the U.S. Census Bureau.
  • Career Guide to Industries (CGI)  - Provides the following: nature of the industry, working conditions, employment, occupations in the industry;;training and advancement; earnings;,and sources of additional information for over 40 different industries covering 3 out of 4 wage and salary jobs in the economy.
  • Economic Census - The economic census provides a detailed portrait of the United States' economy once every five years, from the national to the local level.
