O'Reilly Learning Platform for Higher Education

Important Note: If you ever created a free account in the past (not through Florida Tech), then you must contact O’Reilly support (support@oreilly.com or 1-800-889-8969) to delete your free account.

To login to the Florida Tech O'Reilly Learning Platform online, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Evans Library website (https://lib.fit.edu). 
2. Select the Databases button under Search and Find.
3. Navigate to the letter O and select O'Reilly Learning Platform.
4. Select "Institution not listed?" and you will see the screen below. 
5. To continue, follow the instructions in one of the boxes below. 

Login Method #1:

If you never previously created an O'Reilly account (or if O'Reilly deleted your free account upon request), then continue with these steps:

1. Enter your Florida Tech (fit.edu or my.fit.edu) email in the box provided.
2. Click on Let's Go.
3. On the next screen, click on Got It.

You will then have immediate access to the database and receive an email message from O'Reilly prompting you to create a personal password.

Your O'Reilly account is separate from your TRACKS account, so you can choose any strong password you like.

Login Method #2:

If you already have an O'Reilly account, continue with these steps:

1. From the second welcome screen (shown in the first box above), click on Already a user?.
2. On the next screen, enter your Florida Tech email address and click on Continue.
3. On the next screen, enter your personal password and click on Sign In.
