Getting Started
If I could talk to you face-to-face about the kind of resources that are best for completing your assignments and research in Biometry, I would tell you that learning about and using peer-reviewed journals is one of the most important lessons you will learn. That lesson is the reason for this guide. You can read more about peer-reviewed journals and why they are important under the Articles & Databases tab.
In addition, the Reference Resources tab will lead you to some useful resources for basic information about biometry and other topics in the biological sciences.
Under the Citing Sources tab you will find out about RefWorks, an important resource provided by Florida Tech to help students, faculty, and staff keep track of the resources they use in completing assignments and research. RefWorks will also help you create a bibliography (works cited list) for your research reports.
