The PsycINFO database contains more than 1.5 million references with abstracts to psychological literature from 1887–present, from journal articles, books, book chapters, technical reports, and dissertations.

OPEN ACCESS. From the US Department of Education, the Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) database includes annotated bibliographic records for journal articles, books, research syntheses, conference papers, technical reports, policy papers, and other education-related materials. The database links to more than 200,000 full-text ERIC documents and lists citations and abstracts for over 1,000 comprehensively indexed educational and education-related journals.

Search for and access full-text journal articles from two collections: Life Sciences and Arts and Sciences III. Life Sciences includes journals from biological sciences, health, and general sciences. Arts and Sciences III includes full-text journals in the languages, literature, music, film studies, folklore, performing arts, religion, art, and architecture. Most journal titles provide back issues that are three to five years old and extend back to issue one of the title.

A multi-disciplinary database of journals, monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc.; many are peer reviewed. Nearly all areas of study are covered with articles as far back as 1887.

General and discipline-specific periodicals coverage as well as general reference information with some full-text content. Databases include: Computer Database, Expanded Academic ASAP, General Business File ASAP, General Reference Center Gold, Health Reference Center Academic, Informe (Hispanic magazines), InfoTrac OneFile, Literature Resource Center, InfoTrac Religion and Philosophy, Military and Intelligence Database, Professional Collection, and Testing & Education Reference Center.

What if I need articles which are not available via the Evans Library?

Distance Students may submit an Interlibrary Loan request for articles that are not available in the library's print or electronic collections.
