Reference Training: RefWorks Migration Fall 2017

The purpose of this guide is to provide information on reference service and resources for library staff and others who may have the opportunity to assist patrons in a liaison's absence.

Important Information on RefWorks

  • The “soft” migration to the new RefWorks was activated the week of August 14, 2017. You can still log in to your legacy RefWorks account. You will be encouraged to create a new account, but you are not forced to. When you do create a new account all of your references will automatically be moved to your new account.

New users will only be able to create an account on the new RefWorks. The inset frame on the legacy RefWorks login has been updated with directions as shown here.

Much more information can be found in the New RefWorks LibGuide, including additional links out to training videos, live webinars, and recorded webinars. http://proquest.libguides.com/newrefworks
